Fernanda Da Silva Lameira is a medical professional with an international background spanning Brazil and the United States. Originally from Porto Alegre, Brazil, she grew up alongside four siblings before beginning a career in medicine. Her medical background includes family medicine training in Brazil as well as experience with the Brazilian Air Force. Her professional interests later developed in pathology, including anatomic and clinical pathology. Her medical experience has also included residency training in Louisiana along with involvement in research and medical publications. Outside of medicine, Lameira places a strong emphasis on maintaining connections with family and friends and experiencing different places and cultures. Travel is one of her primary interests, and her experiences have included destinations such as Madrid, Barcelona, and Santiago. She particularly enjoys visiting coastal destinations and spending time at the beach. Having lived and studied across different environments, Lameira’s background combines medicine with an international perspective and an appreciation for continued learning and new experiences. Away from her professional interests, she continues to enjoy travel, time with friends, family experiences, and opportunities to explore new destinations.
